Cayenne at last pocono track event. No, it wasn't the only car on the track at the time! |
Just test drove a Toureg V8 last night. I have to say, if I were on the track next to one of those things, I'd feel, err, a bit threatened. What a tank.
|
I never saw that shot before. That's pretty funny! Looks like a pig in mud.
If everybody chimed in on every picture to say "old pic" we wouldn't see any pics anymore....now would we? SmileWavy |
I havn't seen it either, but then I am only a junior member. Oh yeah, when can I remove the words junior member?

Just saw TOP SPEED today at IMAX
The feature TOP SPEED playing at the IMAX is awesome. One
of the vehicles featured is the new Cayenne S. Porsche went to great extremes to test this SUV. There are onboard computer systems that manage the suspension at high speed. I think the old saying "Nothing even comes close" really applies in this case. |
I've never seen it either. I am assuming that is run off on a track?

I doubt it's from a track. No one carries stuff in their trunk on a track. Plus, you're really not allowed to walk around when you've gone off at a track.
|
Looks like a track to me. Orange cones and pavement on far right of pic. I think they let you walk around your car once or twice after you beach it like that.
I never have seen the pic before either. |
Great photo. looks like a track shot to me too. The Suncoast PCA chapter had a Cayenne S at the track last month. The local dealer sent it with a salesman to show the others what it could do on the track. I read a review of its performance and it sounded pretty impressive to me. Sure beats the heck out of a wagon IMO.

The picture is from Buttonwillow raceway. Last turn coming onto the front straight away. Raced there dozens of times. That is definately Buttonwillow.
|
Obviously new to Porsche ownership. He's wondering where the motor went.
