Angry Another mouse tale

Last night I decided to take the 911 out for a spin (it had been a couple of weeks). When I tried to start the car, it acted like the motor was locked up. The battery was fully charged, but the motor wouldn't turn over; it would just "clunk". After about four or five tries it turned over and started right up. I didn't know what to think, but it was running fine, so I figured "no big deal". I took the top off, and went to put it in the trunk. To my horror, there in the middle of my trunk was a big mouse nest full of baby mice! I removed them, stripped the trunk and couldn't find any more. There are no mouse droppings in the cab or the engine compartment. I'll be setting numerous traps tonight. But now that starting problem has me worried about maybe having mice in the engine as well? Man, I hope I can catch the little SOBs.

To piss me off even more, I've got two Corvairs, a Beetle, and a Ford one-ton truck in the same warehouse. No sign of any mice in any of those! They had to pick the damn Porsche. F**K!

Just Venting -

There are a few threads on this subject. Check the intake and make sure nothing is in there. Repellents suggested range from Bounce dryer sheets to the good ole kitty.

A cat will clean this problem up very quickly.
