Wheel sizes, interchange?

Hey all, can anyone here help me out?
I've got 17x7 and 17x9 (I think) Cup2 wheels on my '80 SC, I think they're Mille Miglia's.
I'd like to get another set of wheels for the track, but I really don't know what will be an exact size replacement for these, will later models of 911 twists, for example, fit okay or not.

I'd Really like to find some used Kinesis, Fikse, or BBS wheels but I don't know what spacing and everything else I need to look for???

Anyone with information, or a good source for used wheels?

There's no better choice than Fuchs for track wheels. Do you have the ones that came with your car? If not, try to pick up a set of 7 and 8 (or 9) x 16's. If your car has an 8:31 r and p you may want to consider 15's for better pull out of tight corners. Of course, there are lots of aftermarket choices. Have a look at www.wheelenhancement.com for some ideas. May want to give them a call. Pretty knowledgeable.

Two basic types:

Early offset, and late offset. Your car is early. Any early offset wheel will bolt right up, and late offset wheels can be used with spacers and longer studs.

The line of demarcation between early and late is anti-lock brakes. Any car with anti-lock uses a late offset, and cannot use an earlier wheel.
