Porsche Crest 911 performance stats?

Does anyone have a compiled list of performance statistics for the 911 series, especially the early and mid cars?

0-60, braking, top speeds, cornering G's, gas mileage, weight, etc.

Interesting.. http://www.gtpurelyporsche.com/data/GT06_105.pdf ..how the same weight is given (1210kg) for both the SC and 3.2 Carrera.

Aren't the SC guys always making cracks about Carrera weight? Maybe that's just another in a list of bull***** myths (the other most popular one being power steering) propogated about the 3.2 Carrera. Or is this thing wrong?

ha ha,

Yes, the tech spec books show a difference -- so the GT PP site is not accurate...

Of course, both SC and Carrera were bloated blobmobiles -- it's just a matter of degree.

The PCA club race rules list SC's at 2552lbs and Carreas at 2756lbs, never understood where the 200 lbs came from, cars not that different. I sure a lot of people ahave had there G and F cars weighted (PCA race clesses for stock SC and carreas respectively).

Yeah, there are a bunch of sites out there that list the weight at different #'s for the same car. Some of the confusion comes from ROW vs. USA specs, I guess.

Hafta add that purely porsche link to the bookmarks, thanks.

Options would change the weights of the cars, and there could have been a difference in weight between the '78 and the '83. I bet standard options changed considerably between the SC and the Carrera and I bet that's where the weight difference comes from.

The Carrera engine is bigger, it has 2 extra blowers in the footwells, etc.

One thing to note, those specs are for European cars. I don't know how an SC could weigh as much as a Carrera. I assume a Carrera coup with no options could be pretty close to an SC targa with all options. Still most options on an SC were standard on a Carrera wern't they? If you look at the 0-60 for a Carrera it is only 0.1 sec faster at the same weight with about 30 more hp. That doesn't add up. I would assume the weights are not correct. I've been trying to find stats for my 81 Euro forever now, thanks for that link!
