happy birthday!

don't like to blow my own trumpet but i haven't been able to work on my car much over the last 6 months (!) and so my participation here has been less and less.

anyways (to keep on topic), i got waynes new engine rebuild book for my birthday today so had to post! it got my 911 juices flowing again.

also, after months of waiting i believe my t/bars (from william knight) are at the depot to be picked up............thought they'd never get here.

once i get that nursary out of the way there'll be no stopping me.....

cheers.

Dickster,

Happy birthday. Hope its a goodun and you never have to use your rebuild book.

Actually I take that back, how about you bring your rebuild book to my house when I rebuild, that way mine stays nice and clean

Have a good one.

btw, get all the things you want to get done now, once that baby arrives you will be wondering "what the hell did I do with my spare time before!!!!!!"

Cheers Jakes

LOL, I think you're right,
but as for all pelicanites, we will be here to support him,
Stuff that you could do in an afternoon, now sometimes take a whole weekend.

Still I would'nt change it for the world.

How long do you think before he buys (him/her) their first toy Porsche?

Cheers Jakes

Heheh, Nursery, most people call it a garage. You aren't going to have your car ready until Mid October??

Good luck getting anything done after that.

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday.

I'm getting some tools for mine next month.

Is this a feeling that just creeps up on you? I can't imaging the day when I would want a money leach/emarrassment at sports days/moaning dependant in my life (child).

Oh and happy birthday mate.

Dickster- how'd the situation with the keys turn out...? Get started on mounting that baby seat in the 911 now...you can call it a "car project" and get away with it...

jakes & tim

thats good 'cause it'll mean i can mix it with cars and not have to go to "welcometofatherhood.com".

anyways, the first is a boy so thats handy. he's gonna be into cars and bikes in a big way

i put his cotbed together last night, and my better half filmed it - that will be a future tutorial.

what your baby?

mmmm, thats a cunning plan.

i've changed the locks with £150 secondhand ones. all done. just gotta sort the lights and get it tested now.......

chris,

i can't see chelsea ever being anything other than runners up - we always were, but it'll be more fun trying with all that money. a bit like supporting real madrid, only he's not matching that sort of quality yet.

the only thing that bothers me is how long he's gonna stay around for - will he get bored and leave chels in the *****e?

cheers
