Wanted: Pics of SC with 245/225 16's

Looking to buy some wheels real soon, anyone have some pics of their SC or SC flared car with 225's and 245's x 16's.

Also, anyone ever run a 265/45/16 instead of the 245/45/16, looks like the sizes are almost the same as the 255/40/17 that is so popular, just a little teeensy bit taller.

Thanks a bunch!!!

Here it is, '78 SC with 225 front and 245 rear on 7's and 8's. I don't know if these pic's show the tires all that well.

Man, Here is another thread where I want to post my pics, but can't.... How do you insert a pic? The FAQ says to browse to it on your local drive. But in reality, that doesn't work. ?

click on the "Post Reply" bottom and hit "attach multiple". You can do it from the quick reply and the file has to be 100KB or less.

ok, I see the attach multiple in the post reply section, but not in the quick reply section.

And I am attaching this in case anyone wants to see the requested size in 17's.

Wouldn't that be neat if you were talking about my car, haha... but the previous 3 cars look mint! U R right, they have nice looking cars!
I have 7 1/2 and 9 replica Cup wheels with tires 225/45-17 and 245/40-17. I did just get some used Kinesis rims sized 8 and 10 with 225/40-18 and 265/35-18 tires, but I think the '96 offsets of them won't permit me to use them

Wow, you guys are really getting some huge tires under your SCs!!! Here's a picture of my 'wide' body with front 225-50-16 Dunlops on 8x16 Fuchs and rear 245-45-16 Dunlops on 9x16 Fuchs (soon to be 255-50-16)

Hey Clay, what company manufactures the 265-45-16 you mentioned?

Thanks,

bb80sc,
That's one sweet ride. What kinda front spoiler is that?

For you guys running 225 fronts--any rubbing problems with 7x16 Fuchs?

thanks

I am thinking about the same tire sizes (found them at Tire Rack), but on 15" rims. Any input would be great (do they fit well on 7/8" Fuchs)?

Hi Clay. Not the sizes you're looking for, but I thought just for comparison...

Here's my new So3's
205/55zr15 front, 225/50zr15 rear, on 7's and 8's.
