Troubleshooting Driveablility Problem

I have developed a strange problem suddenly tonight with my '80 SC. I've had this car 7 months without any trouble, and suddenly, when accelerating away from work, the car exhibits loss of power and missing under half to full throttle. It still idles fine and will run without incident under light acceleration (what fun is that!)

I hate to start replacing things (distributor cap, fuel filter, etc.) without a plan of attack. Do these CIS cars have any common issues which may cause this type of problem? I'm wondering about the fuel distributor....

Phew, where to start?

Here is the short list in order of likelyhood.

Fuel Pressure (Pumps)
Fuel Distributor
Ignition
