Roof section - is this flat enough

Getting ready to have this put on a Targa and trying to get as far along with the prep as I can before it goes on. I've put on three coats of SPI epoxy, followed by 3 coats of Feather Fill G2 and sanded with a long block 220 grit. There is no filler under the epoxy.
My question is: is this flat enough? If not, what is the best process for evening it out a bit more?
Thanks!

Bill

There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity over on that forum, at least the last time I posted a question I didn't get much response. Was hoping to get some opinions quickly as I am about to deliver the roof.

It looks good but when they are in primer they always do after some work....also hard to tell at that angle....a side shot, they way you look at it while sanding, is the only perspective that may tell.

If you have done this before successfully and you are satisfied you are probably good.....it takes experience to know when it is 'done'....a first time try is a crap shoot that shows up when the paint is put down.

Finish your prep after the roof is on the car. If you are wet sanding it, you can wet it down and look at the surface wet.

Ok, I have to ask, are you converting a targa into a hard top? Looking at the picture it looks like you cut the roof off of a couple and plan to chop and channel it onto a targa.

Yes, that's the plan. I have the rear part of the c-pillars from another car to be joined with this section to create a complete roof section to be installed on my former targa. I am not doing that part of the installation myself, way beyond my fabrication/welding capabilities. I'm just trying to get as much prep work done with the roof off the car as it's a bit easier to reach across and I don't get dust all over the rest of the car :-)

If you are painting the car white, you have no worries.

Who is painting the car? They will be the ones to decide how straight the roof is.

Did you do any metal work to the roof?

Plan is to take the car back to it's original Olive color. Did not do any metal work on the roof, a non-sunroof section that was already very straight. I'm most likely going to have Larry Alvarez in Modesto CA do the paint, he does work for the local R-Gruppe guys and I've seen a few cars he's done, all look very nice.

220 grit. I prepped the epoxy primer with 180 before shooting the feather fill as the primer sat for a month or two before I got to the next step.
