Anyone know what's this?

Hi,
At first I thought it was the horn based on some German design but then I found the horns...

Thanks
-J

Heh, that is your very expensive A/C condenser fan assembly.

If its the original then its pretty likely that it no longer blows which will contribute to an underperforming A/C system.

Then again I imagine that you don't need it that bad in canada.

By the way, you should neutralize the acid and clean up the battery tray area before any damage occurs to your chassis in that area.

If it doesn't work, you can buy just the motor. You can drill out the rivets and separate the halves, the use a long allen to go through an access hole in one of the fanblades to loosen the set screw that holds on the fan. From there it's self explanetary.

Thanks for the remider, I'll use the baking soda+water approach, to clean the area before it's a problem, right now it on the surface only.

About the A/C condenser thanks, now I know what is that... And it should work OK because the A/C works like a charm in the 2 week warm weather here in Canada

Bye

I believe that is the stock set-up on the SC. At least, that is how my SC is set up.
