tyres

Hi

what the should be the right tyre size on the carrera 2.7 Rs

(i finally bought my 72 S/ 2.7 MFI) thanks for the advices on this board....

Philippe, the original size tyres for the RS were 185/70 x 15 fronts & 215/60 x 15 rears with a VR speed rating.

185/70 x 15" tyres are difficult to get now (although I understand that Michelin have re-introduced a limited run of these but they are very expensive) & are now usually replaced with 195/65 x 15 which has a very similar overall diameter.

If you're less worried about keeping to the original sizes you could fit 205/55 (F) & 225/50 (R) assuming you have 7" & 8" wheels.
