Headlight, running lights, turn signal out??
Hi,
In my 72 911, none of the the passenger side front lights, ie the front headlight (both high and low beam), the passenger side front turn signal, and the front "running lights" passenger side, do not work. All other lights are fine in the back and on the driver side. Is this a fuse issue? Does anyone know which fuse controls these items? Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Mike |
If your problem happened all at once then, the chances are that a fuse is the problem. Burned out or, not making good contact. Go to the box in the front hood, drivers side. With the ignition on, play with each fuse to see what it controls. There is also a schematic and, if my memory serves me correctly, a diagram on the inside of the fuse box lid that may tell you what each fuse controls. Take your time, don't panic, don't cross wires. Remember the basics of electricity. The fuses are a real problem after awhile in all the older cars, Porsche and otherwise.

Thanks Michigan,
I will get a chance to test it out tonight. Mike |
