4.5" fuchs value
I have 5ea. of the narrow fuch wheels. Straight, but need restoration. Any ideas on the value of them?
Thanks, A.B. |

I've seen two pairs offered at recent swap meets. The first at $600 (Pomona) and the second at $750 (Seattle). Neither sold. I bought a nice single at Pomona in Apr for $125, but I think most will agree that's on the low side.

Hi,
I have had several inquiries regarding these wheels. I apologize in advance if I have not gotten back to everyone, this is my office computer-and occasionally I am in the field. Also, just found 2 bulletin board messages I had missed- I am a newbie with this board. Anyhow still looking for some guidance on these wheels. I have 5 ea. and although I realize these are certainly not ming vases, would like to figure a fair value assuming they check out satisfactorily. This site is fantastic and I have learned a ton in the short time I have been visiting here. Thanks! Alba |

Restored, they would be worth at least $400/wheel, so subtract the cost of an excellent refinishing job and you are looking at $250/wheel in their current condition.
That's my best guess. YMMV. TT
