Has anyone used the ding king? I just saw it on tv. Sounds too good to be true, but I'm worried it will make things worse. anyway heres a link

Agreed! I just had an atemp at a quick fix on my BMW. It looks worse than before. I wasted $95.00. Save your money.

Ding king only works on OEM paint, even at that the glue it leaves behind is sometimes worse than the dent.
Don't waste your money, hire a pro.

There is NO way that the "Ding King" would work on that Porsche metal.... maybe on some cheap jap car of today...but not on the metal used in the older 911s.

That...and the guy in the commercial is extremely annoying.

Well, it's not realy for the Porsche. I don't see any dings on the Porsche but I have one or two on my nissan 240sx. If the glue is bad for the paint, then I guess I'll just leave it as is. It's my everyday car so more dings will happen so it's not worth getting a pro to repair it. Thanks for the feedback.

I bought one once to use on my wife's Civic. Tried it out on the 911 as well. Absolutely terrible. The glue won't stick to a car that has been waxed. Even stripping the wax won't allow it to stick well. Then if you do get it to stick to the car the glue isn't strong enough to stick to the tool itself. Keeps disconnecting.

Pile of crap. Don't bother.

I added the emphasis to Paul Andersen's quote. Even the work quality can vary at professional shops. Getting the right guy in the "paintless dent removal" can result in incredible results. Getting the trainee can result in a less pleasant result.

And for my 2 cents, I will not buy ANYTHING which is advertised as "As seen on TV".
