Any need to reprogram or modify chip when

adding a Fabspeed air box. I have an autothority chip. Just wondering if the chip is optimized for factory air box or if it would make any difference. I am chip illiterate and this is for the 1988 cab 3.2.

The best is a chip burnt for your particular car, done with the car on a rolling road.

Decide on all the engine related mods you intend, do them, then have the chip done to optimise. If time and cost is not an issue you can have a chip done at each modification.

Who can I get to perform such a service? Is there not someone on this board who programs chips.

Would there be any noticeable difference if I reprogramed the chip for fabspeed box. If difference is so small, I will likely wait until I figure the exhaust set-up I want to use.

Steve Wong is the chip programmer extrodinaire. Do a search for him and email him. He can help you like the hundreds of others that he had burned chips for.
