RUF Suede Steering Wheel (up to 89)

Does anyone have this wheel or any close up pics of this wheel. I am thinking of picking one of these up. The pics in the brochure are tough to see...in particular is the center horn pad suede? Looks like it compared to the leather one. Also what is the thickness of the wheel compared to the factory wheel.

Ruf offers the wheel in either leather or suede. The leather one is ALL leather including horn pad, and the suede one is ALL suede, including horn pad. The rim thickness is thicker than stock. Diameter is 360mm.

Here is a pic of the leather wheel:

Here is a pic of both side-by-side:

I have the leather RUF steering wheel, not suede, currently installed. It’s definitely thicker then the factory wheel, maybe twice as thick. Extremely comfortable and well designed.

I’ve seen close-up pics of the suede in the past and the whole steering wheel, including horn button, was suede. I’ll look in my archives to see if I have any pictures to post.

Where can you get the suede Ruf wheels for a pre-'89? How much?

Thanks,

Lew
