930 hot start problem

Greetings, first time poster here. it is a fantastic resource. I've got a 79 930, 78kmiles, original light blue with tan, all stock except for reactor replacements. Bought it 93 after selling gutless 84 944. Dropped engine after I got it, did valve adjust, plugs, oil leak repair, rebuilt turbo, installed tensioners, etc. First problem this year. quit once at stop sign when hot, wouldn't start twice after sitting for an hour or so after shutdown. Cranks fine. If I let it sit a while it will then fire. Checked coil resistance, secondary fine, can't get exact reading on primary with my meter but it drops to 0 on lowest scale. Found corrosion on coil secondary tower and cleaned. trying to duplicate in driveway to check w/ spark tester. Any ideas? read in shop manual and here that Bosch CDI box is supposed to whistle with key on. can't ever remember hearing this but left ear is almost shot. Put my ear as close to it as I can and can't hear anything but it starts and runs great until hot start problem. Comments?
A few years ago installed Sanden, new drier. R12. Now a/c blower is making noise, probably bearings shot. Looked in smuggler box, determined evac is necessary to remove blower? If so will try Envirosafe along with add'l condenser somewhere. Any reason why I can't modify a small evap core from some junkyard donor and use as a condenser core? Thanks.

CIS I assume? Sounds like a bad accumulator or check valve in the fuel pump. It lets pressure bleed off when warm, not a good thing.

Have you tried lifting the flap inside the air box and starting it? Or checking the fuel pressure when warm?

It's a two man job.....check the archives. Common problem.

Haven't really got into it yet. It starts a lot better when cold then when it has this hot start problem. I'm thinking if it was a fuel pressure bleed down it would be even worse after sitting for days but that isn't the case. I'm leaning towards ignition but have yet to verify w/ spark tester if I can duplicate in driveway. Thanks.
