Question Floorboard insulation

Guys,

My 80 SC is being resurrected from a fire. On the inside, what are you guys putting on the bare floorboards to insulate and decrease noise? I have heard of Q pads that you lay on the floor and heat them with a heat gun. I have never used such a thing. Is this the way to go or is there a better route?

Thanks!

I used the self adhesive asphalt-based sheets from JC Whitney after cleaning and primering the floor. However, it's not exactly a lightweight solution.

Take a look at this brush-on solution called Noise Killer 207. Some of the guys here have used it.
