Bilsteins: HD vs. Sport?
What's the difference in feeling/driveability?

The current thought is sports on the rear with HD on the front. Many threads on this for additional information.

Just put sports on the rear. I have Hd's in the front. I had Hd's all the way around before. Now, I have noticed a "stiffer" ride. Less roll in the rear. But, feel the bumps. Bumps don't bug me. May bug wife. LOL. All in all I own a 911 for the pure fun of driveing it. Bumps add to the fun.
Hope this helps.

I have 22/28 T-bars and Bilstein Sports all the way around. Terrific ride, it's my daily driver

Match your shocks to your torsion bars. Softer bars - HD, Stiff bars - Sport.
The crossover point is around 22/28mm. Vehicle weight is also a factor. 22/28 would be fine with HD for a lightweight, but 22/28 with sport for a pig. Sport are also designed for cars that have been lowered a bit.

I guess it's all about taste, but I've always found Bilstein HD's to be pretty mushy. Hell, I think the Sports are mushy at the track.
For my taste, it's Bilstein Sports front and rear for the street, and Koni Sports front and rear for the track. (Or better yet, JRZ's, but that's a whole different price-range.) ![]()

Tyson--which JRZ's would you recommend for street/track? Howz come no one recommends the Koni adjustables around here? Everone is so hot on the Bilsteins. Thanks

For reference, I went with 21/27 tbars and Bilstein HD's all around per Chuck Moreland's recommendation (blame Chuck!

My corporate sponsor is VISA, if you know what I mean, so torsion bars are in the future but shocks may happen soon. Since my car still has factory bumpers, seats, undercoating, sound deadening, etc. (it's my daily driver), I think I can get away with HD fronts and Sport rears.
I'm also wondering about the re-valving option.
