Rear License Panel
Is there an easy way to remove the Rear License Panel (1970 911)? I removed the bumper guards and found two more bolts at the bottom (on each side) to remove. I couldn't get a wrench in there and when I tried a socket, I could turn it because the wrench kept hitting the muffler and I couldn't even get a click out of the socket. Tell me there's a trick?

I got at mine with an open end wrench. The fasteners you are refering to are sheet metal bolts, so they are easy to turn once loose. Perhaps yours are rusted. Good luck, and keep trying!

You might try loosening the left and right bumpers a little bit to give you a little room to work with.

Try 1/4 in drives with wobbly extensions, also you might want to replace them with allens for ease.
