G50 Transmission question

Pull up to a house that's for sale to look at it. Outside is parked a Boxter. Upon meeting the owner of the house I compliment his choice of cars...he thanks me (not noticing the Guards Red 911 parked right in front of his!!!!!!!!). To befriend the guy I remark, "ah, a Boxter S...that has a 3.2 right?" He responds, "I don't really know. I just got it a few months ago and will probably trade it in this fall before the winter hits."

Here's the question, is the coma an option with the Boxter or is it standard equipment?

3.2 is on the "S" and now you see why there is a glut of them for sale used!
