rungroup starts but 911 won't ... Gremlins?

yesterday at Putman Park my '84 would not re-start after the first morning session and then an easy trip into town and back. My friend generously sent me out onto the track in his car so I didn't miss my session but we could not get my car to re-start and it came home on another Pal's trailer (these guys are phenomenal!)

Car cranks but does not have any sign of ignition

Fuelpump spins

spare DME relay does not change it

Swapped Coils with another '84 to no avail and no spark at plugs

no blown fuses

grounds are tight and in order

the only wierd thing it did prior to this is that the heater blower was inexplicably running the day before after I shut off the car and would not turn off until i retarted and shut the engine back off. then the fan was off too

what is it!

Wish I knew the answer to your issue..I was just gonna post my question as I was the black SC who got all of 1/4 lap in Sat AM before some electrical gremlin kept me from getting back on track AT ALL!. At leats it was a beautiful weekend at Putnam.
