Aftermarket engine mount bar (?)

I recently did a partial motor drop to remove the CIS system on the 3.0 SC motor. The engine mount bar needs paint. I plan to do this when I remove it to install the electromotive crank pulley.

I was looking at BA's Performance Handbook and noticed that over the years different mount bars have been used. In one of the pictures of 1974 3.0 RSR (I think that is what it was) the mount bar has round holes going across. I'm not sure if that was to lighten or strengthen the bar or both. But it looks "cool."

Does anyone offer an aftermarket engine mount bar.

You can just cut holes in your stock crossmember. One of our engineers up here modeled one to check structural integrity, and found that the holes generally did little to weaken the thing. I think that may have been jdub.
