901 tranni question
The trani in my 70E needs to be rebuilt, i have a line on an earlier 901 5speed from a 912. Are they basically the same transmission? I know the 70/71 were a little bit diffferent that the other 901s, is it a big deal to convert to the earlier style? Will the smaller 215mm clutch disk work with the larger 225mm flywheels and pressure plate on the engine? Thanks in advance.
