Need Help w/ 1987 turn signal problem
Hello All,
I am seeking help on my 1987 prosche 911 turn signal problem. I can not get my FRONT turn signals working at all. When you engage the turn signal either right or left I only get a faint light out of the trun singal bulbs and the marker light will not even blink. However when I turn the car off and engage the right signal the marker light will light. I have clean the contacts, replaced the bulbs, checked all the wires, and even replaced the relay. (about a year ago I replaced the stalk for my turn signal) If anyone has any idea what the problem may be please let me know on this foum or e-mail me @ Impacttec1@aol.com This is driving me crazy. Thanks for the help MIKE  |
Mike - my guess is that it is the turn signal assembly itself on the steering column. This is a common part to fail and causes problems with the turn signals and/or headlights. Since you have already tried repairing it on your own, I would be inclined to go ahead and order a new replacement mechanism.

Of course there is the chasis grounds that one can check too.
