Quick H4 question...

So the H4's have arrived. I've looked at all the past threads, including Daniel Stern's site etc. The diagrams and wiring look great, make sense, except for one part. The back of the actual H4 doesn't have 3 prongs. (Sort of.) It has 4 prongs. One belongs to the little bulb that is located just below the main bulb. I may be wrong, but I haven't seen anything mentioned about the second bulb. Do I have to wire that one too? What's it for?

thanks,
dave.

The smaller bulb is for a parking light used in Europe. My '86 Carrera did not have the extra wire so I just plugged in the 3 prong female receiver.

the second bulb can be used for a city light or blinker or parking or whatever you want it to do
mine aren't currently hooked up but i plan on making them city lights (on all the time)
the clip that holds the little separate bulb in is the ground, use a spade terminal for the + side of the bulb

edit...........kurt beat me to it

Pretty sad that on a Friday night you can ask a somewhat obscure question on this board and get two good answers withing 4 minutes!

Thanks guys. Well it's rainy in Boston, and might as well use the time to put in the new hardware.
