Question, Turbo wheels on Non Turbo car
Is there anything I need to know or traps I need to watch out for as far as putting turbo fuchs on my 87 stock carrera, I have seen about 5 1980's 911's (non turbo) with the bigger wheels and could see no difference in offset or problems.
Thanks, Jack |

No problem. What width wheels? 7's and 9's?

No problems at all... here is my 1984 with 7s on the front and 8s on the back. I wasn't satisfied with how the rears looked so I added .5" spacers to boot. No fender rolling or any modifications to the body panels at all and I don't get any rubbing or negative side effects.
I'll be in the market to replace the rears with 9s when I recover (financially) from my other mini-911 projects. ![]() ![]() |

8's and 9's here - 8's are from the 951
![]() Minor fender rolling on the fronts - none on the rear.
