I don't know anything about the car, but I met the owner of this new dealership last month a Porsche Club Concours. He has been around the VW and Porsche scene for a long time - he is an enthusiast.

Big thanks to pschrup for checking out the car for me. Unfortunately the dealership pulled the auction with an hour to go, presumably because they didn't like the price. Guess they aren't aware of reserve auctions.

It was probable to keep low life SC owners from scuffing there marbel floors & drooling on there fine ware. Pity it would be a good price at even $30k, but not the $38k they had it marked on the floor. I didn't mention anything about price & the guy didn't strick me as the typical greasy used car salesman. Maybe next time. SmileWavy

The dealer mentioned 2 prior owners - carfax said six, for what it's worth.
