Fuchs question

My rims say "5 1/2 J 14" on the back (matching spare, too). Are the$e the good one$???

Yes, they were probably the strongest & lightest for their size ever put on a production car ... from 1967 thru 1989!

Your 14" wheels were part of a comfort group available on the 911E ... however, $$$-wise, they are not in high demand, primarily because no high-performance tires are availablw now for 14" wheels.

I've got the same 14in wheels on my 70E. Was a Sporto with the comfort pack, but no longer. The sporto died an ugly death and i've just bought 16in to replace the wheels - decent tires are just not available any more. If you ever change the wheels, keep the originals - it's nice to think that these cars could be changed back to original spec if anyone ever wanted to.

any pics of your car? I love the 70E.

You guys shouldn't gloss over the truth. The 14" Fuchs are the most worthless of all sizes of Fuchs ever made.
You can't get decent tires for them. They don't fit over big brakes. Even the VW guys don't want them.
If anyone disagrees with me, put your money where your mouth is, I can get you 17 of them. Cheap!
