ok.
ive been working aggressively on getting my 73t car to rs spec. like most expensive hobbies, im going to have to put this on hold for a while since i will be leaving my job. what does this mean.
1. more time to surf on the net
2. sit around and drink beer and work on car
3. redo my resume....tommorrow, tommorrow, tommorrow...
4.drink another beer
5.drive over to pelican for more parts
anyway, im just curious what your rs looks like.

thanks guys

joe

p.s.
anyone looking for an executive chef!

If you don't have a job your job is to go out and get a job.
So you can finish your RS clone.
Hope these colorful examples motivate you.

well,
heres some of the crap thats in the garage that will one day look like like an rs in the pics.life started out as a 73t with a 2.4 with e cams and s pistons.soon to be a 2.7 rs spec motor.got a great deal on a 77 2.7 7r motor for 450.00. the killer part was the 4000.00 in race prep machine work only. front 87 carrera suspension for 500.00. carrera gas tank was in car when i bought it. i paid 6000.00 for car. i dont know if that is alot of money, but it was worth it to me. check out the dual plug work from ollies. great bunch of guys!

What kind of mirrors are those on you car Jack. My 72' has only a driver's side mirror and it's round. Are they aftermarket?

Yeah, the picture is of BB1, which was a 73. The mirrors are the slightly-larger 74-75 ones. The smaller rectangular, and round, mirrors look nice, but are too small to be very useful, IMO.

BB2 has the same mirrors, but it isn't an RS clone. I accidentally put one too many R's in it.

Wow! I've never seen that kind of ducktail on a 914!

Man, Jack has a very nice car.
