oil line adapter

Hi,

Just received my oil line adapter H-107-348-XXX.
First of all, congratulations on the handling.
I ordered Wednesday evening and received Friday morning (in Belgium!)
Very impressive.

But why is there no "nut/ferrule compression fitting" on the inside fitting? There were on the oil lines that came with the tensioner upgrade kit.
Please don't tell me I have to remove the fitting from the original oil line because I tried and it's impossible. At least not without destroying the thing.

Thanks,
Philip

Philip,

The nuts and ferrules can be removed and reused ... but I usually put new ones on the cam tower lines when I install them.
