Low rpm miss
Any ideas on what would cause a low rpm miss. After 4k rpms car runs and pulls fine but before that miss is present. Engine is a 2.4 in a 72T with CIS. CIS was added not sure from what year. Not my car just considering purchasing it. Thanks.

Maybe the wires, but if they were bad wouldn't it be worse at high rpms.? I'm wondering if its a burned valve.

A compression and leak down test will tell you if you have a burnt valve. One of the wire resistance may be a little off so you haved a weak spark in that cylinder, but as you race the engine the weak cylinder is cover up by the other cylinders.
