Sunroof? 77'S coupe
Just got a 77' 911S as a project. Sunroof is not closed all the way. I hooked up the battery and flipped the button at the left of the wheel. The one on the dash lip. Is this the roof button or not? If not, where is it? If it is, which fuse is it? Because it don't work. I also do not have the "emergency" roof crank. Believe me, I looked.
Interesting new problem beeing that my "driver" is a Targa. ![]()

That's the right switch. The fuse should be the very first one on the panel (closest to windshield). If the fuse is fine, you might have a bad switch or motor (check the switch first obviously). Also, the emergency crank is usually in the tool kit, if you haven't looked there yet. If you need to get the roof closed in the meantime, you might see if you can find the right size bit (star/torx ?) to fit the sunroof transmission (remove the flathead screw cap first), where the emergency crank would go if you had one. Good luck!

Great advice. Thank you. Car has no tool kit. Plan "B" sounds good.
Thank you, Troy
