Jumping spark at distributor
I am using the oem Beru braided plug wires and recently there came up a spark that's jumping from where the wires plug into the distributor. Causes the engine to hiccup and misfire at part throttle. I got a shock when I tried to check the connections to the plugs from another wire (at the head). What could be the cause of this? Leak? Old wires?
thanks, dave. |

could be..how old are the wires? OEM new, or OEM 30 years? Could also be simply a bad connection, not the wires?
