Carrera electrical gremlin...

I've just about knocked out every last issue with this car and the once-intermittent driver seat adj. switch is now totally dead. Of course, this happened when Charlie had the seat moved all the way back for vacuuming and is stuck there now - good thing I'm tall. I would have guessed the switch or motor. But the passenger side seat is dead too, as are all the switches on both seats and the a/c blower fan. All fuses look ok. I don't have my Bentley's handy. Are these circuits somehow connected? Do they share a common ground? If it was a bad common ground, wouldn't that blow a fuse? How about relays? Buehler? Anyone? Orange whip? Please advise. Thanks.

I think your problem is in your fuse block. Check the fuses again. Get a meter and check to see if you're getting power to the feed side of the block. My guess is that you have a fryed fuse block. The A/C on these cars pulls way too much current for one fuse, and the fuse blocks live relatively short lives. What happens is that everything loosens up due to the heat that is generated by all that current. Check the middle fuse position on the rearward most fuse block in the trunk. I'll bet it's loose.
