I can't seem to get a fix on the weight of stock middle year impact bumper and valance assemblies. I need weights for the front and rear bumper/valance assemblies including the bumper shocks. Also, if anyone knows the weight of a stock hood, I'd appreciate that as well.

I believe I know the weight of the fiberglass replacements for these pieces via gt-racing's website, but I can't find weights for the bumpers and bumper shocks.

Can anyone help? Has anyone weighed these items?

I would probably try Gt racing and see if they have something in chart form that they could send you. I would find it odd that they sing the weight loss program song and could not back it up with #'s

not in my database -- but folks say the shocks are the really heavy pieces -- that and the giant rubber guards on the butt

you might ry finding an article series on RS cars in a Brit magazine a few months ago -- one article was on a Brit Co. that backdates SC's to RS looks -- maybe it mentined the wt.s fo the bumpers.
