rollover fuel cut out switch??
I just bought a 87 carrera that was a light rollover for parts. I put the ground strap back on and checked the oil and tried to fire it up. Fuel pump does not seem to be running. I remember some type of saftey switch that shuts the fuel pump off in the event of a impact or rollover. Does anyone know the location of this switch? Thanks in advance.

I didn't think the 87's had something like that. Have you checked the DME relay. They are notorious for going bad

No such animal. Check the diagram of the motronic system in the shop manual or BA's book.
I looked for one of these, thought about adapting a "g" switch from a Mustang, but decided to support Craig Watkins instead.

The car ran fine before the mishap. It landed on it's feet and now won't fire.......no fuel. It's time to check the basics. Thanks for the replies.
