That's the battery cutoff switch. From the location of the big "E" he probably has a loop-type repeater for the electrical switch at the corner of the trunklid, a common practice. He should have a triangular blue decal with a lightning bolt in it marking that. The big "E" is for an external fire extigusher switch-- this car does not appear to have been fitted with a fire system, so it's wrong (which is the point I was making, somewhat obliquely. . .)
