Cracked Rotor...Need Dist. Rebuild kit!!!

Darn it! Drove to the store last night and on the way home, my car died! I had just replaced the cap and rotor like 25 miles ago. I lifted the cap off and found the rotor was in pieces. Also several of the Cap contacts had obviously been hit by the rotor. There is too much play in the shaft.......

Where can I get a rebuild kit???? I live in the North Orange County area....Or where can I bring it to be professionaly rebuilt...Cost, locations??? Ideas??? PP only carries a few parts...

Thanks in advance!!!

Send a message via AIM to Vintage911Racer
Porsche Crest Distributor

Try this guy. I just sent mine down there and had it rebuilt. Got it back in 2 days, looks and runs like new. For only $65.00. Cant beat that. Service was great.

I called motoparts today...They are located in the City of Commerce...about a 30 minute drive from my house....Great news! Full rebuild costs just $70.00 !!!!

Vintage...UR a true life saver!!! I can't thank-you enough....If you do a search on the BB for a distributor rebuild...You can find a p/n for a rebuild kit or suggestions of going to a local industrial supply house...Guesses were that the rebuild kit from Bosch was like $200.00!! And nobody could seem to find a source for the kit.

For $70.00 dollars...I think I'll let the experts do the job....and with a 1 year warranty to boot!!!
