Angry ARGGG! Wife calls: "I'm in Monterey and there's a bunch of cars here..."

I can't believe this! My wife, who's a pilot, calls me after checking into her hotel at the end of her trip today. She's in the Marriott in Monterey. What timing! She holds her phone out the window and I can hear the auctioneer, "$245,000.... do I hear $250,000?"

Oh well, I got to hear the Ferrari 860 Monza get bid to $1.9M over the phone and I'll get a cool T-shirt. Oh, did I remember to say "ARRRGGGHHH!!!"?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

She planned it. Is she flying home or driving?

You just got "punked" LOL. Went to the Historic car races here in Monterey yesterday. Boy, you are missing out! Feel any better?....... You just got "punked" again!
Sorry man. This is the best time to live in the Monterey bay area. You should plan to make the trip next year. Best cars in the word all in one spot. Gonna have pics soon. Took ninety-three. Gonna have to sort them out first.

My wife just called to tell me about her flight out of Monterey. While the passengers were waiting for the gate checked bags to be brought up she noticed a guy with a Bugatti jacket. She asked him if he bought anything last night.

No, but he SOLD eleven.... eleven Bugatti Veyrons (1001 BHP, 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in 14 sec, top speed 252 mph) at $1.4M each! She asked him for a ride in one, but all she got was a photo.

That my friends is officially butt ugly. I don't care about the cost, I don't care about the specs, it has to look awesome too. That Bugatti looks like a Pontiac/Chrysler concept car. This is what a supercar is supposed to look like. McLaren F1 !

That looks like the car that almost hit a wall at Monterey on Saturday. Before the racing began this car was on the track doing a hot lap. The driver passed under the bridge at the start/finish line and lost control of the car and spun several times at turn 1, just missed hitting the inside wall there. It sure got everyone on there feet in a hurry.

I wonder if the driver soiled that beautiful white interior. What goes through your mind as you're about to crunch the prototype of a $1.4M car?

Yeah, I think if I were shopping in that price range I'd have to go with the McLaren, too.
