Distributor play
A search on this gave a good set of results but none had the answer that I was looking for. I have an EFI conversion on my 78 3.0. The distributor has a dual set of pickups which are sent to the computer. That is the background now the question!
How much rotational play should there be in the distributor shaft....not end play or up and down play...rotational. The reason is that I have a large amount of turn on the shaft. If there is would it matter? If there should be none then it must point to a worn or wrong drive gear, or can the gear be put in wrongly? Thanks Mark.... |
