Does anyone know where the rekeying kit for a 75 911 Porsche can be bought? I'm looking for the kit discussed in Wayne Dempsey's 101 Projects for your Porsche Book - Project 76.
An info would be appreciated. |

I looked for one as well and finally gave up and brought my cylkinders to my locksmith. He charged me $15-20/ea to rekey.

Thank you all for your replys. But I'm basically looking for additional wafers to rekey the locks. May have to get other locks and tear down to salvage lock tumblers ie wafers. I was hoping a rekeying kit was still available, but probably not. Again thanks for the information!

Although it is best to load all positions in the lock cylinder with wafers, it will still work fine with some missimg. You are just increasing the mathematical possibility of a random key opening the lock. Again, most locksmiths that do automotive work can help you out.Phil
