Could Ruf 17X10 wheels be widened to 12"
Does anyone know if its possible to increase the width of a pair of Ruf 17X10's that are my 1988 911 turbo to 12" wide? I have plenty of room between the tire and the inner fender and would love to run wider tires, but want to keep the Ruf wheel look. If it is at all possible, any ideas who would be the best to refinish the wheels and do the modification? Thank you......

I suppose it COULD be done but it would be expensive. I would not know who to suggest, but there is someone out there that could do it. That said, I would rather have a set of custom wheels built for the same cost. (Fikse, Lindsay Racing, Simmons, HRE, etc...)
OR you could just be happy with the 10" Ruf's, that's what I decided to do. Have any pics of your car? I would like to see it.
