Ha, this picture reminds me of a real-life story:
A guy ordered a brand new 964 targa for his new girlfriend. He ordered it in purple-metalic. The interiour was full white leather, completed with purple piping to match the color of the car. The girlfriend never knew any of this, because it was supposed to be a surprise gift for her. Finally the dealer has the car ready for delivery, so the guy takes his g/f to the dealership and surprises her with the brand-spanking-new car. All she said was "what a gawd awfull stinking color! I don't want a car with a color like that" Instead of slapping the b!tch around the dealership, the guy freaks out and nervously addresses the salesman. "OMG, she hates the color, you have to repaint it right away!" (remember this is a NEW car) and lets his g/f choose another color (barbie-pink metalic). The car was completely dismanteled and resprayed in pink. The interiour was redone as well (all purple piping/stitching was changed to pink). You can only guess what this must have cost  The g/f drove the car for 3 months after it was redone, and then dumped the guy... He sure was lucky that the salesman persuded him to register the car in his name and not hers. He had a very hard time selling the car (who wants a color like that?) and lost SERIOUS money on it... cheers, Jeroen |
