paint code 514??

Does anyone know what color paint code 514 corresponds to on a 1973 911?

The complete paint code plate on the LF door jam reads Kunstharzlack 514-9-3.

Thx.

just for kicks since it doesn't seem to be on the list, what is the color of your engine compartment? I know it could have been covered up on a good respray but it doesn't always happen. and what color is the car currently?

Common for cars UP THRU '72. In '73, the engine surround became body color. Just offering food for thought....

Huh! Well it's a 73.5 and the engine compartment is black as everything. So that is food for thought... Other food for thought I've had with that car recently is that it has a thick layer of bondo on th LR fender and the red paint is full of bubbles lifting off the surface. I planned to paint it anyway, but not after a few years for for my bank account to recover. Too much food for thought will make me overeat and get sick...
