3 for a quarter on Ebay

This is the third time this guy has listed this car on Ebay. All under different names! What a set this guy has!

And this is the second or third time you have pointed this out to the board. Do have some beef with this guy? All I see is the typical e-bay boasting, nothing new there. Is there some blatant dishonesty in what he is selling? Did he cheat you out of something?

None of the above. When I am down in Fla this weekend I will look at the car in person. Kurt, some people here actually enjoy seeing this kind of stuff, just for a laugh, and to let you know how shifty it can get out there.

I did get a chuckle over some of the ad copy:

"For safety, this Car has Hydraulic front and Rear Disc Brakes with incredible stopping power, "

D-OH! My first car, a 1950 Ford, had 'hydraulic' brakes, admittedly drums. And it had incredible stopping power...it was incredible that it stopped at all! (ALL brakes that use brake fluid are "hydraulic")

""You Are Buying From One Of The Most Honest Dealers In South Florida!"

Wow, what a lucky break!

. . .is that like claiming "one of the most Honest Hanging/Dimpled-Chad-4-Gore-Counters In South Florida!" (?)

Looks like a nice car, the alloy on the engine has the typical corrosion from the Florida salt air.

Hey, Dr: don't laugh. I'm sure we'll go through the hanging chad thing very soon down here in CA...

It looks like a really nice car, but perhaps the guy writing the text was tokin' on the crack pipe when he began rambling...

"...It's also fully equipped with an almost perfect 50/50 front to back weight distribution. Comments from Porsche owners of 930 Turbo's include "It seems like your driving on Fly Paper the car sticks to the road so well..."

WTF?

In a 930, really? Something must be wrong with mine!

I've been to this guys dealership. I think it was called Promotive or Promotion. I have to say he had some nice cars. He had a mint 2002, a few SC, and a mint Aston Martin. I know its him because he always take the picture on that dock. Nice cars, way over priced.
