Portland Vintage Racing this weekend
Just a heads up for this weekend - Vinatge racing all three days at Portland International Raceway, in conjunction with the All British Field Meet. Over 700 cars are expected for the ABFM car show (I wonder if they got their electrical problems worked out?).
The #808 has been sold and is going to Texas, I will be racing my wife's red 356 #5 and will be pitted with Emory Motorsports, stop by and say hi.

Mark,
Great to hear you found a buyer for #808...and from Texas too...sounds familiar.

Doug that was Stan's car. He sold the engine to Dan B. after Dan's blew at the Seattle Historics. We bought the car with out an engine, took the new gear box out for my Roadster project and the #5 got the older engine and gear box out of the Roadster (new engine coming for the Roadster).
My wife will be going through licensing school and several track days over the winter and then start racing it next spring. She will be in the vintage class with drum brakes and I will run small bore historic class with disc brakes. I'm pretty proud of her!
