Center console installation

I bought a center console for my SC and am ready to install it. The two front screws are pretty straightforward but I do not know how to instal the one near the handbrake.

There is a slit in the carpet where I can insert the "tab" with the hole but I do not know how to line it with the hole in the floor or how to position a screwdriver to turn the screw.

I am lost!!! :rolleyes:

Any tips? Do I have to remove the carpet? And the seats? Anybody has written 101 projects for your center console?

Slip the tab through the slot in the carpet first, then stretch the carpet back to gain access to the screw hole and screw it to the floor (yes its goofy and a pain)...
