Hey guys i have a 73.5 911T w/CIS and heard from a mechanic that there was a fuel filter right off the tank. He said that this filter is often forgoten about. I was just wondering if that was true before i started tearing the car down looking for it. If it is true does anyone know the part munber of the filter?
Thanks Hunter |

That is news to me. The only filter I know of is the one in the engine compartment. I wonder if he meant the fuel screen that is in the fuel tank itself? If so, I would not fool with that unless you are having a fuel starvation problem, as you have to drain the tank to clean the screen.

News to me too. As an aside, the original fuel filter for the 73.5 CIS is NLA. This is my workaround .
