Bilstein Green - Paint
I'm doing some under the fender cleaning in preparation for my new drilled rotors and need to touch up the Bilsteins. Has anyone found an off the shelf green that matches Bilstein green? Thanks.

I don't know if it's accurate enough for a touchup job, but I have heard of people using John Deere green paint to paint Bilsteins.

There's a place on the web that makes touchup paint to order -- just send them a chip or the housing, etc. It's been posted on this Bd. so do a search, or maybe someone will repost the URL.
Also Testor's has model kit paints match various Porsche and Ferrari ext. colors. |

I haven't looked for paint for them, but after changing my struts and ball joints I did find that that's about the crappyist paint I've ever seen. It has no resistance to volatile cleaners. I'm putting removal and painting of my struts on my to do list.

If you search *john deere* here, you might find that it's been done and is's a good match. the one that's hard is Koni. I blended chey engine orange (there are even different versions of this) with some red and it was a decent match.

Well, if you're going to remove them then powder coating is definitely the way to go.
