Some of you probably know the VW Shwimmwagen of WW2.
14.276 of these vehicles were made between May 1942 and the end of 1944. What's not exactly common knowledge is that Porsche made 125 prototypes before it went into production at VW. Note that the pre-production vehicles had a "buzzer, to alert the crew when the V-belt was broken. This was a serious hazard and would cause the engine to overheat. The production series does not have this buzzer." Only five Porsche Shwimmwagens are still known to exist. http://www.vwschwimmwagen.de/

The others still do exist but they are down the bottom of a lake somewhere.

I wonder if the machine gun mount is forwards compatible to 911 cab's?

Would that look better with RS or SC flares? Seriously, those are pretty cool machines. Have seen a couple and wouldn't mind having one for a trip to the lake!
